This beautiful senior girl was behind my lens last year, but I realized that I never blogged her session, and it was one of my favorites. From her outfits, to the location, to her smile, she nailed it in every way. She’s off having an amazing time at OU, but I loved my afternoon with her and the special images we were able to capture of her senior year!
I am so fortunate that I get to see this amazing family behind my camera every year. When this session was over, the kids hopped into the car and said, “See you next year!” I love that, and I love watching families grow. The fact that they have two older girls and then a boy endears them to me even more since that’s what I have! This year mom decided to make it just about the kids and told me we should go for it when I suggested a new location! She has such great style and incredible ideas, so it’s always a fun adventure at their photoshoots. I threw in this new blanket from last fall at the last minute, and the picture of them throwing the blanket in the air is one of my new all time favorites! It was cloudy and rainy the entire day of this shoot, but we were blessed and surprised with the most beautiful sunset. I am very thankful for the friendship with this family and for the support and honor of capturing them each year!
I’m going back now and blogging some of my sessions that I missed last summer and fall. This session was so special to me since it was for the daughter of one of the biggest joys in my life. I knew L from the day she was born, and it was awesome to be able to do her senior pictures. We had lots of fun with different Dallas locations, outfits, and some fun props! It was hot that day, so ending with popsicles from Steel City Pops was perfect. L is heading off to Baylor in the fall, and I couldn’t be more excited for her. Her mother and I roomed together at Baylor our freshman year, and we know first hand the amazing experiences she will have. So many good times ahead, and I will be watching to see all of her success! So thankful that I was able to share this part of her story with her and her wonderful mom!
